Ears.

It's about time I introduce you to....

Parkie's "New Ears"

My. Oh. My. is he adapting well.

Today he turned to his name for the first time.
My heart melted and splattered on the floor.

Mr. Parkie now enjoys the sounds of...
screaming children.
(he thinks its fascinating hearing someone cry)
Running water.
Cars honking.
Doors slamming.
Clapping.
Microwave beeping.
His laughter.
My songs.

So much more.

Isn't it crazy to think just a mere two weeks ago
my little man had no concept of sound.

nothing.
nada.
zip.
zilch.

He is progressing rapidly and hears new noises daily.
I am so happy all of you get to follow his journey!!
This is going to be an amazing ride!

Now check out his new flashy accessories.

k

Ok.
So the thing connected to his head is a magnet.
It sends the sound to the actual
implant inside his head.

Parkie hears the door shutting.

He heard his bike crashing on the cement.

Tantrums are a whole new experience!
He thinks they are hilarious!
Parker. they. are. not. funny.

Exploring for bugs is different too.
