Peter Pan.

One of the most well known and best loved fantasy story is Peter Pan.  It helps me remember my childhood imagination and how much I still live in that world!

Pirates.
Indians.
Fairies.
Kingdoms.
Worlds to be created.
Creatures to be discovered.

Strengthening that part of me lets me escape from dark and hard times.

Each day I feel it is my responsibility to bring that world to Parker.  To teach him to open up his imagination.

Yesterday he was Peter and I was Captian Hook.

Some say the symbolism of Peter losing his shadow is the process of a child growing up.
I hope Parker never loses his shadow.

Kids are stripped of their innocence and imagination so young these days. The world really is nasty. We have to guard their hearts. Well they say boys will never grow up... Especially when it comes to video games! = )

You have always have an imagination. You are young at heart and have a sweet soul! I may look older but, my spirit is still so young.. I definitely don't act my age.. There is something about never losing your inner child.. Love the picture of parker with his shadow.. So cute.. When I was at your house I was doing Shadow puppets on the wall in his room.. He was trying to copy me.. So funny.. He really is pure joy!! So were all of you kids.. I am sorry I didn't enjoy you kids as much as I should have.. I see things differently now..
