On a Trip...In our Imagination.
This Morning Parker and I desperately needed to take a trip.
Hmmm... Where to go?
I wanted to go to the Circus. He wanted to see Mickey.
No such thing as a "Mickey Circus" in real life, so we made one!
Welcome to"This isn't really Disney, Mickey traveling Circus/Freak show Compromise"
We quickly found our seats once we arrived, I didn't even notice the snarky Gnome sitting next to me. We really weren't in Rocklin anymore!
The Ring Leader (Captain Obi the Alien) his pet Poodle Doris came out to introduce the first act. Genetically mutated animals? Hmmm... A Polar Bear the size of a yellow school bus, a T- Rex that was just short of four feet, and a pig the size of a van my Mom once had. It was very entertaining. Parker was a little freaked out so he just sat quietly munching on some dandelions. Candied of course!
The Second Act was a dance number. A Goose and her newborn duckling performed to one of my favorite songs, "Footloose". (Remember this is my imagination, so I get to pick the song.)
The Gnome sitting next to me told Parker and I we couldn't leave until we saw The Bearded Lady. I have never seen one before so I thought it would be an educational experience for both Parker and I. (Wax, Shave or Pluck regularly!) She looked very sad in her cage. Everyone was laughing and pointing at this poor women. Parker even tried to tug on her beard! I quickley told him that wasn't polite. So I did the only thing I thought I could do, I handed her a box of Nair and the number for a "Hairy Women Support Group." She smiled then waved Parker and I goodbye.
Luckily we got out of the Circus tent fast because I heard (from a no name source) that the F.ederal B.ureau of I.magination came and shut the whole thing down due to illegal activities. (I think it was the Genetically mutated animals!) I'm just sayin!
